Role Purpose
The Restoration Technician is responsible for attending residential and commercial properties impacted by events such as water, fire, and mould damage. This role involves completing on-site assessments, carrying out mitigation works, and setting up equipment to ensure properties are restored to a safe and habitable condition.
The technician plays a key role in delivering high-quality restoration services, adhering to health and safety guidelines, and maintaining professionalism in client interactions. The Restoration Technician works closely with the supervisor and wider operations team to ensure work is completed efficiently and in accordance with company processes and client expectations.

Restoration Operations Manager
Key Responsibilities
1. On-Site Works
Attend properties to complete initial assessments and carry out restoration works.
Perform tasks such as water extraction, mould remediation, structural drying, fire and smoke cleaning, and decontamination.
Set up and monitor drying equipment (air movers, dehumidifiers, HEPA filters, etc.).
Record moisture readings, complete site photos, and update job notes via mobile reporting systems.
Assist with strip-outs and removal of damaged materials, contents, and floor coverings where required.
Ensure cleanliness and organisation of job sites before, during, and after works.
2. Equipment & Materials Handling
Load, transport, and set up restoration equipment as needed for each job.
Maintain and clean equipment regularly to ensure functionality and hygiene.
Report damaged or faulty equipment to the supervisor for repair or replacement.
3. Compliance & Safety
Follow all health and safety procedures, including use of PPE and site hazard awareness.
Comply with company policies, insurance client protocols, and relevant legislation.
Report any site hazards, incidents, or concerns immediately.
4. Client Service & Communication
Represent the company professionally on-site and during all client interactions.
Provide clear communication to clients about the scope of work and expected timelines.
Handle sensitive or distressed client situations with empathy and professionalism.
