Retail Manager

We are seeking an enthusiastic, reliable and experienced retail manager to join our team.

• minimum 3 year retail sales and management experience

We can offer suitable candidate visa sponsorship if need be.

key responsibilities

· Manage day to day operation

· Recruiting, training, supervising and appraising staff

· Budgets

· Maintaining statistical and financial record

· Dealing with customer queries and complaints

· Monthly stocktake and report to head office

· Maximising profitability and meeting sales targets, including motivating staff to do so

· Ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation

· Preparing promotional materials and displays

· Liaising with head office in Darwin.

Tasks

• ensure the store is open and close according to trading hours
• respond to customers' inquiries and complaints about goods and services
• ensure that customers receive prompt service and quality goods and services

• plan and prepare work schedules and assigning staff to specific duties
• examine returned goods and deciding on appropriate action
• take inventory of goods for sale and ordering new stock
• ensure that goods and services are correctly priced and displayed
• ensure safety and security procedures are enforced
• produce daily cash deposit report and EFTPOS sales report to head office
• act honestly and ethically
• perform monthly stocktake and report to head office
• ensure the store is clean and products are nicely displayed

Pay: $50,000.00 – $60,000.00 per year
