As the Store Manager at The Pizza & Wine Club, you will play an essential role in leading our

passionate team, managing day-to-day operations, and ensuring that every customer enjoys a

memorable experience. This is an exciting opportunity for a results-driven and customer-

focused leader to make a significant impact at a growing venue.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Restaurant Operations & Compliance: Oversee daily operations to ensure smooth

running, adherence to company standards, and compliance with food safety and WHS

regulations.

  • Sales & Business Performance: Drive sales by analyzing customer feedback, market

trends, and sales data. Implement strategies to increase profitability while maintaining

brand integrity.

  • Inventory & Stock Management: Manage stock levels, track product usage, forecast

demand, and maintain efficient stock control to minimize waste.

  • Team Leadership & Training: Recruit, train, and mentor staff to foster a positive,

customer-focused team. Ensure all team members meet the restaurant’s service

standards.

  • Roster & Workforce Planning: Develop and manage efficient shift rosters that meet the

needs of the business while optimizing labor costs.

  • Financial & Cost Management: Monitor sales, expenses, and food/labor costs.

Implement pricing strategies to drive profitability and control costs effectively.

  • Customer Experience & Brand Loyalty: Ensure a top-tier customer experience by

addressing customer concerns promptly, handling complaints professionally, and

implementing strategies to increase customer retention.

  • Marketing & Promotions: Execute promotional events and campaigns, and implement

upselling techniques to drive customer traffic and increase sales.

  • Compliance & Quality Assurance: Maintain high food quality, presentation standards,

and ensure compliance with health, safety, and local council regulations.

  • Reporting & Performance Metrics: Keep accurate store records, monitor KPIs, and work

closely with upper management to optimize performance.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in retail or hospitality management, preferably in a fast-

paced, customer-oriented environment.

  • Proven ability to manage day-to-day operations, including financial oversight, stock

control, and staff management.

  • Strong understanding of customer service principles, sales strategies, and operational

efficiency.

  • Ability to interpret financial reports and sales data, and implement strategies to improve

business performance.

  • Excellent leadership skills, with experience in recruiting, training, and motivating staff.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills to handle customer concerns and

operational challenges.
