Role: Retail Manager Location: Clayton South, VIC Key Responsibilities
- Plan and manage product range and inventory levels to ensure an optimal mix aligned with customer demand and seasonal trends.
- Establish and maintain merchandising standards and service protocols that reflect our brand’s values and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Develop and implement purchasing strategies, negotiate with suppliers, and set pricing structures to maintain profitability and product competitiveness.
- Lead and coordinate in-store promotions, visual merchandising strategies, and digital advertising campaigns to maximise store exposure and sales.
- Provide product knowledge and guidance to customers, assisting with product use, safety, and features tailored to the needs of infants and young children.
- Monitor stock levels, track sales data, and maintain accurate records of financial transactions to assist with forecasting and planning.
- Ensure the store complies with workplace health and safety regulations and create a safe environment for staff and customers.
- Regularly evaluate customer feedback, prepare and manage store budgets and market trends to implement improvements in service and product offerings.
- Coordinate returns, warranties, and customer concerns in line with company policies, ensuring positive outcomes and customer loyalty.
- Liaise with marketing and e-commerce teams to align online and in-store promotions and ensure consistent messaging across all platforms.
Salary: $70,000 - $80,000 plus Superannuation Full-Time Job Type: Full-Time (38 hours/week) Required Skills and Experience
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar retail management role.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, Retail Management, or a relevant field (AQF equivalent).
