Retail Store Manager

Rams International located in Dubbo-NSW is seeking a Retail Store Manager who can create store policies and marketing programs that will increase sales and grow the existing customer base. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and adjusting operations to stay within the corporate budget, and making any changes necessary to sustain the projected profit margin for each quarter. Tasks & responsibilities

• Organize all store operations and allocate responsibilities to personnel
• Supervise and guide staff towards maximum performance
• Prepare and control the store's budget aiming for minimum expenditure and efficiency
• Monitor stock levels and purchases and ensure they stay within budget
• Deal with complaints from customers to maintain the store's reputation
• Inspect the areas in the store and resolve any issues that might arise
• Plan and oversee in-store promotional events or displays
• Keep abreast of market trends to determine the need for improvements in the store
• Analyze sales and revenue reports and make forecasts
• Ensure the store fulfils all legal health and safety guidelines
• determining product mix, stock levels and service standards
• Formulating and implementing purchasing and marketing policies, and setting prices
• Promoting and advertising the establishment's goods and services
• Selling goods and services to customers and advising them on product use
• Maintaining records of stock levels and financial transactions
• Undertaking budgeting for the establishment
• Controlling selection, training and supervision of staff
• Ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations

Qualifications & experience

• AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma, Diploma; or
• At least two years of relevant experience
• A proactive, motivated approach with a “can-do” attitude.
