Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Risk and Compliance Co-Ordinator to join their dedicated Risk and Compliance team.
This key role works in close collaboration with the Executive team to ensure effective management of risk, compliance, and Work Health and Safety (WHS) across the organisation. You will play a critical role in ensuring the organisation meets its regulatory obligations and maintains a safe, compliant, and well-governed environment.
Please note: prior experience working within the school or education sector is essential.
Key responsibilities include:Developing, implementing, and maintaining risk management and compliance frameworks tailored to the education sectorEnsuring compliance with child protection laws, Working With Children Checks, duty of care obligations, and student welfare standardsSupporting WHS initiatives specific to school settings, including playground and excursion safety, emergency preparedness, and incident managementMonitoring compliance with curriculum and educational standards, privacy obligations, and records management requirementsAssisting with regulatory reporting to education authorities, accreditation bodies, and school boardsProviding training and guidance to staff on policies, procedures, and legislative requirementsSupporting regular compliance audits and risk assessments across school operations, including co-curricular and off-site activities
We are looking for candidates with:
