About the role

Custom Carpentry Perth is seeking an experienced Roof Carpenter to join the team in Perth, Western Australia. As a Roof Carpenter, you will play a crucial role in the construction and installation of high-quality timber roofing systems and other carpentry jobs. This is a full-time position based in Perth Northern suburbs with overtime if wanted.

What you'll be doing

• Help build timber roofs from start to finish

• Building modular homes

• Tasks including timber framing, cladding, metal studd walls and trusses, sheeting and flashings

What we're looking for

• A qualified Carpenter with experience in timber Roofing and willing to work on other carpentry builds

• Someone that's hard working fit and confident in walking and working on roofs

• Strong understanding of roofing systems, materials, and building techniques

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction plans

• Excellent carpentry skills, including the use of power tools and hand tools

• Attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team

• A valid driver's licence and reliable transportation and white card
