Our Building Remediation division is growing, and we are looking for experienced IRATA-qualified Rope Access Technicians (Level 2 or Level 3) to join our dynamic team.
The Role:
As a Rope Access Technician at Meriton, you will be responsible for carrying out remedial and maintenance work across our high-rise portfolio.
This role combines advanced rope access techniques with specialist skills in building remediation, including glazing, rigging, waterproofing, leak detection, and façade work.
You will work as part of a highly experienced team, supported by strong leadership and a robust safety and compliance framework.
This is a full-time, permanent position based in Sydney CBD, with projects across the Greater Sydney area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely perform rope access tasks in compliance with IRATA protocols, Australian work health and safety regulations, and applicable industry standards.
- Conduct site assessments to identify remedial work and structural deficiencies.
- Carry out façade works, including but not limited to glazing, rigging, waterproofing, leak detection and rectifications, caulking, cladding, concrete and render patching, painting, and pressure washing.
- Collaborate closely with engineers, supervisors, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality outcomes.
- Maintain strict compliance with workplace safety procedures and Quality Assurance systems.
- Assist in rigging and lifting operations as required.
Required Skills and Experience:
- IRATA Level 2 or Level 3 certification
- Proven experience in remedial and façade work on high-rise buildings.
- Basic Rigging or higher certification
- Construction White Card
- Work Safely at Heights certification
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
- Expertise including but not limited to glazing, rigging, leak detection, waterproofing, cladding, caulking, concrete/render repairs, painting, and pressure washing.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Full Australian permanent working rights
- Must pass pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screening and provide a clear criminal history check and two recent work references.
