The Motor Trade Association of Western Australia is the peak industry body responsible for leading, training and preparing the automotive industry for the opportunities of the future.
Our training arm, MTA WA Training Inc., is a Registered Training Organisation offering both classroom based and employment based training.
About the role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and organised individual to provide effective and efficient administration support and customer service to the Registered Training Organisation (RTO) on a full-time basis.
This busy role will see you maintaining accurate and compliant data entry, reporting and recordkeeping in accordance with all Department of Training and Workforce Development contractual and RTO Standards requirements.
Key responsibilities may include:
Provide course information across apprenticeships, pre-apprenticeships, and post-trade programs
Manage learner enrolments from start to finish
Communicate with learners, employers, and schools
Schedule and reschedule training blocks
Issue certificates and statements of attainments
Enter and maintain learner data in VETtrak
Maintain and archive student records (filing & scanning)
Record assessment results in VETtrak
Course printing
Perform general RTO administrative tasks
Assist with RTO compliance and reporting
Support the preparation of data for audits and government reports
Course invoicing
If you possess the following criteria, we would love to hear from you:
Essential Criteria
Experience using VETtrak or another student management system
Understanding of the VET sector and the functions of an RTO
Excellent attention to detail, focusing on accuracy of information
Proven ability to manage a large volume of work
Experience in data entry and record management
Demonstrated time management and organisation skills
Proven interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written)
Superior customer service skills to internal and external stakeholders
Advanced MS Office and computer skills
Desirable Criteria
Knowledge of RTO Standards
Experience participating in TAC and DTWD audits
Qualifications / Licences:
Minimum Year 12; and/or
Certificate III in Business or equivalent
Ability to obtain a Western Australian Working With Children Check
Driver's Licence and reliable transport
