This company have excellent growth and experience in designing, installing and maintaining security systems such as door entry, access control and CCTV products. This employer is now a very well-established Electronic Security Systems Integration business involved in the small to mid-end size systems in IP CCTV, Access Control, Alarm Systems & Intercom systems integration throughout Australia.
Originally a guarding and patrol business which is also a service you can offer, this company has grown via acquisition and offers long term stable employment.

THE ROLE
The SME Sales Executive - Electronic Security Solutions role works to improve the organization’s market position and achieve financial growth across small to medium (SMB) sectors using a transactional sales approach appropriate for low price-point, monthly services. This person identifies business opportunities, negotiates and closes business deals, and maintains extensive knowledge of current market conditions.
 
The Sales Executive’s job is to work with the internal team, marketing staff, and other managers to increase sales opportunities and thereby maximize revenue for the organization. To achieve this, they need to find potential new customers, present to them, ultimately convert them into clients, and continue to grow business in the future.
 
Sales Executives will also help manage existing clients and ensure they stay satisfied and positive. They call on clients, often being required to make presentations on solutions and services that meet or predict their clients’ future needs.
 
JOB DESCRIPTION
The primary role of the Sales Executive is to prospect for new clients by networking, cold calling, advertising or other means of generating interest from potential clients. They must then plan persuasive approaches and pitches that will convince potential clients to do business with the company.
 
They must develop a rapport with new clients, set targets for sales, and provide support that will continually improve the relationship. They are also required to grow and retain existing accounts by presenting new solutions and services to clients. Sales Executives work with mid and senior level management, marketing, and technical staff.
 
The main duties of the Sales Executive can be summarized as follows:
 
NEW BUSINESS
• Prospect for potential new clients and turn this into increased business.
• Cold call as appropriate within a market or geographic area to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities.
• Meet potential clients by growing, maintaining, and leveraging your network.
• Identify potential clients, and the decision makers within the client organization.
• Research and build relationships with new clients.
• Set up meetings between client decision makers and company’s practice leaders/Principals.
• Plan approaches and pitches.
• Work with team to develop proposals that speak to the client’s needs, concerns, and objectives.
• Participate in pricing the solution/service.
• Handle objections by clarifying, emphasizing agreements and working through differences to a positive conclusion.
• Use a variety of styles to persuade or negotiate appropriately.
 
CLIENT RETENTION
• Present new products and services and enhance existing relationships.
• Work with technical staff and other internal colleagues to meet customer needs.
• Arrange and participate in internal and external client debriefs.
