About the role

Coastal Truck Services' is seeking an experienced Sandblaster/Painter to join our team in Warnervale, NSW. This full-time role is responsible for providing high-quality sandblasting and painting services to our customers and to our own fleet here at Coastal Transport Services.

What you'll be doing

• Performing comprehensive sandblasting and surface preparation of vehicles and equipment

• Applying industrial paints and coatings to ensure a professional finish

• Maintain and use sandblasting equipment in accordance to WHS guidelines

• Maintaining a safe and organised work environment, following all health and safety protocols

• Collaborating with the workshop team to deliver efficient and timely services

• Providing input on process improvements and new techniques to enhance productivity

What we're looking for

• Relevant industry qualifications are highly regarded

• Proven experience as a Sandblaster/Painter, ideally within the transport industry but not essential

• Strong technical skills in surface preparation, paint application, and colour matching

• Familiarity with operating sandblasting equipment and industrial painting tools

• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to produce high-quality, consistent work

• Must be able to work effectively to ensure work is completed in a timely manner to meet deadlines

• Good physical fitness and the ability to work in a hands-on, physically demanding environment

• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team
