We are seeking a vibrant, proactive, and motivated Scheduling Specialist to join our Scheduling team in Warabrook.


As a Scheduling Specialist, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of support worker scheduling, focusing on person-centred support. You'll ensure reliable and consistent service delivery to customers, in line with their service delivery plans, while supporting staff in a positive and helpful manner. This role also involves respecting individual choice, needs, interests, and cultural backgrounds of the people supported by ConnectAbility.


Key Responsibilities:

You will thrive in this role if you are organised, collaborative, and professional in all dealings with customers. Key responsibilities include:

  • Scheduling or rostering staff, ideally with previous experience or demonstrated aptitude in this area.
  • Managing high-volume rostering requirements while ensuring timely and effective scheduling.
  • Working effectively in a dynamic team environment to plan and organise services for a changing customer base.
  • Balancing multiple priorities and managing competing demands.
  • Demonstrating excellent time management and organisational skills.
  • Maintaining a high level of computer literacy and clear communication.
  • Staying positive and respectful under pressure or tight deadlines.

Experience in a Disability or Health environment is highly desirable, along with knowledge of Work Health and Safety (WHS), the SCHADS Award, and/or the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).

Mandatory Requirements:

  • NDIS Worker Screening Check.
  • Completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module.
  • Working with Children Check (for paid employment).
