This is a TO2 progression position as per the Role Description. The successful applicant will be appointed to the TO2 classification with eligibility for progression to the TO3 once specific criteria have been met or demonstrated. Please note salary rate shown is reflective of TO2 to TO3 classification range.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities Include:

Assist with the preparation and maintenance of laboratory equipment and materials.
Perform accurate data entry and record-keeping related to experiments, tests, and analyses.
Help ensure the laboratory is compliant with health and safety regulations.
Demonstrate the ability to adapt to shifting priorities and tasks.

Comfortable working in an environment where responsibilities may change, and priorities shift.
Eagerness to develop new skills, take on new challenges, and grow professionally.
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and proficiency with data input and management tools.

Strong desire to expand knowledge in science and technology and grow within the role.
A background in science (e.g., biology, chemistry, physics, or a related field) is preferred.
Experience in laboratory environments is an advantage.
Excellent attention to detail and proficiency in data entry tools and software.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Strong work ethic and a positive, can-do attitude.
