Strategic Account Management:
Develop and implement comprehensive strategic and creative account plans, aligning closely with the Managing Director.
Guide long-term strategic planning processes, ensuring clarity and consistency between client objectives and agency capabilities.
Creative Leadership:
Oversee the creative development process from briefing to execution, fostering an atmosphere of innovation and collaboration.
Inspire teams through clear, engaging communication and strategic insight, turning client objectives into impactful campaigns.
Advertising & Campaign Coordination:
Design and execute advertising strategies to support sales objectives, ensuring clear communication, effective audience targeting, and measurable outcomes.
Coordinate diverse creative functions including media planning, production oversight, and creative reviews within established budgets and timelines.
Oversee the creation, scheduling and optimisation of marketing content across social media and digital platforms, ensuring alignment with search engine and performance metrics.
Client and Market Insights:
Lead research initiatives to uncover consumer insights and market opportunities.
Advise clients on product mix, priceing strategies, and distribution channels to maximize market impact.
Financial Management:
Ensure the growth and profitability of accounts, working closely with the Managing Director to achieve defined financial targets.
Monitor campaign effectiveness, providing strategic recommendations for performance improvement based on analytics and insights.
Apply statitical modelling to assess pricing strategies and their impact on profitiability.
Relationship Management:
Build and sustain robust, transparent client relationships grounded in mutual respect and aligned interests.
Foster effective collaboration across internal teams, particularly with senior members of Strategy, Creative, and Client Services, earning trust through consistent performance and leadership.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
Client Relationships: Demonstrated ability to drive client satisfaction and outstanding campaign results.
Financial Accountability: Measurable growth and profitability of managed accounts.
Leadership Impact: Consistent proactive leadership fostering agency excellence across projects.
Agency Contribution: Positively influence agency culture, recognized internally as a champion of collaboration and excellence.
· 8+ years in senior account management within advertising or creative agencies.
· Proven experience managing and growing major client relationships.
· Demonstrated ability in delivering successful, integrated marketing campaigns.
· Strong leadership of cross-functional creative and strategic teams.
· Financial acumen, managing budgets, forecasting, and profitability.
· Exceptional stakeholder communication and presentation skills.
· Skilled in translating research and market insights into strategic actions.
· Proven positive influence on agency culture and team collaboration.
· Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related discipline.
