Join Our Team as a Senior Accountant – Insolvency (2-3 Years’ Experience)

Westburn Advisory, a fast-growing boutique-chartered accounting firm in the heart of Sydney CBD, is seeking a driven professional to join our dynamic and vibrant organization. We specialize in insolvency, business services and advisory, audit, and tax—and we’re looking for someone with the expertise and passion to help us continue our growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Investigate insolvent entities’ finances, including analyzing financial statements and accounting records
• Prepare comprehensive reports for external stakeholders
• Address inquiries from stakeholders via telephone and written correspondence
• Uphold a high standard of professionalism when dealing with clients
• Mentor and train junior team members

Skills & Experience

• Accounting Qualifications, Bachelor’s degree or higher
• 2–3 years of relevant insolvency experience
• Strong investigation skills and a proven record in successful recovery of voidable transactions
• Solid understanding of Australian legislation related to insolvency
• CA/CPA Qualified or Part-Qualified
• Excellent communication skills
• Proactive, “can do” attitude, with a willingness to mentor junior staff
