THE OPPORTUNITYDue to their continued growth, they are seeking two experienced Senior Business Services Tax Accountants to join their dynamic team. These roles offer excellent career progression opportunities in a supportive environment where your technical expertise will be valued and developed.Position 1: Business Services Tax Accountant with strong compliance focus Position 2: Business Services Tax Accountant with SMSF specialisation (minimum 2 years SMSF experience with multiple clients required) KEY RESPONSIBILITIESManage a diverse portfolio of clients across various entity structures including individuals, companies, trusts, partnerships and SMSFsPrepare and lodge tax returns and financial statements with high attention to detailCalculate and advise on Capital Gains Tax (CGT) and Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT) mattersConduct thorough reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial dataBuild and maintain strong client relationships through professional and timely communicationResearch complex technical issues to provide accurate, informed adviceCollaborate with team members to deliver exceptional client service REQUIRED SKILLS & ATTRIBUTESCPA/CA qualification with minimum 5 years' experience in a Business Services Accountant roleStrong technical taxation and accounting knowledge with proven business experienceExcellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clientsHigh attention to detail and commitment to accuracyProficiency in Xero and aptitude for adopting new technologiesSelf-motivated with the ability to work both independently and collaborativelyFor SMSF position: Demonstrated experience managing SMSF clients (minimum 2 years) WHAT'S ON OFFERCompetitive salary package up to $110K + Superannuation (commensurate with experience)Hybrid working arrangements available after 6-month probation period (approximately 60% office-based)Convenient St Leonards location with excellent public transport access (including the new Metro)Supportive team environment with a focus on professional developmentOpportunity to grow within an expanding firm with clear career progression pathwaysModern, well-equipped office with the latest technology
