We're a specialist facilities management company, and we need an enthusiastic and dedicated Accounts Receivable to join our team.
The role requires a keen eye for detail, great organisational skills, the ability to multitask effectively, and a strong trait in showing initiative in tasks.
Our office is located in Artarmon Sydney, close to public transport options and on-site parking available.
About the Position...
Accounts Receivable:
Process invoices for payment, ensuring accuracy and adherence to established financial procedures.
Generate and send out invoices for clients for both fixed and variable venues, ensuring all details are correct.
Tracking payments and following up on overdue accounts to ensure timely collection.
Reconcile accounts receivable records and resolve discrepancies.
Collaborate with internal departments to gather necessary information for invoice processing and resolve any billing-related queries.
Support in following up creditors.
Assist in Monitoring cash flow by forecasting and tracking payment trends, ensuring the organisation's financial stability.
Payroll Assistance:
Process and manage some payroll in a timely and accurate manner.
Prepare some payroll reports
Maintain and update records and files
General:
Produce weekly receivables reports on invoicing and payroll to submit to management
Work closely with clients to establish and maintain positive relationships, addressing concerns and inquiries promptly.
Support internal and external audits by providing relevant financial documentation and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard financial transactions and mitigate risks of errors or fraud.
This is an ‘in office’ position. No working from home available.
About You
Advanced proficiency in Excel spreadsheets, including formulas, functions, and data analysis.
Proven experience in accounts with a focus on invoicing and using MYOB
Initiative and ability to work autonomously
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities without micro-management.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Excellent English communication skills - verbal and written.
Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
