What’s the role?

Westpac Institutional Bank (“WIB”) is seeking a Senior Associate for a permanent role in Sydney. You'll work with Directors to originate, price, structure, and execute various corporate loan transactions (bilateral, club, and syndicated) for our clients. 

This role is industry sector-agnostic, and involves close collaboration with Relationship Managers, Analysts, legal counsel, Borrowers, and other Banks and Investors. Your goal will be to successfully provide loans while delivering exceptional customer service.

What do I need?

• A deep understanding of corporate credit, loan structuring, documentation experience and the knowledge of key credit drivers for the Bank. 
• Critical thinking, deep analytical skills, attention to detail and the application of a risk & reputation mindset.
• An outcome driven mindset to deliver for the customer. You’ll achieve this via your professional written and verbal communication skills, the ability to influence and collaborate broadly across the Westpac Group.
• Proven origination and pitch management experience. 
• Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Commerce, Law, or an equivalent related degree.
