Senior Automation Technician

We are now seeking applications for a Senior Automation Technician to join the Service team in Darwin to deliver great outcomes to our clients and provide peace of mind with 24/7 rapid response support for critical industrial automation and control technology.

This is a permanent full time role for an A grade electrician. You will be experienced in troubleshooting using online PLC and SCADA tools across some of the major platforms including Rockwell, Siemens, GE, Schneider, Omron, Mitsubishi and more.

Key Responsibilities

• Field service and breakdown support for a range of customers over varying industries
• Preventative, corrective and recommended maintenance and documentation
• Electrical installation works
• Offsite remote support
• Assistance with commissioning of projects
• On the job timekeeping and invoicing

Essential capabilities and experience:

• A strong commitment to safety and a safe working environment
• Must have industrial electrical experience
• Electrical installation and commissioning experience
• Commitment to customer satisfaction
• Ability and desire to participate in a rotating after hours on-call roster

Key requirements:

• A-Grade Electrical Licence
• Australian drivers licence
• Must have the right to work in Australia
• Must be able to pass a National Criminal History Check & pre-employment medical which includes a Drug & Alcohol test.
