Senior Bookkeeper

Our client is a family-owned distribution business, operating in Brisbane for more than 40 years. They are one of Queensland's premier suppliers within the wholesale business, supplying to clients across South East Queensland. Our client’s office is located in Tennyson, QLD.

How you will contribute:

As the temporary Senior Bookkeeper, you will be able to jump on board to support the finance team and wider organisation in ensuring the smooth running of day to day and month end accounting processes. Key duties will include:

• Preparation of month end;
• Processing journals;
• Supporting with payroll;
• Data entry of invoices;
• Supporting with AR; and
• Additional adhoc finance duties.

• An experienced Senior Bookkeeper will be best fit for this role, demonstrating the ability to hit the ground running with a range of accounting responsibilities;
• To be successful for this position, you must have demonstrated experience across accounts payable, accounts receivable, exposure to payroll and supporting with month end activities;
• Demonstrated experience using multiple accounting systems would be beneficial; and
• Previously experience working in the warehouse or manufacturing industry would be beneficial.

• Two month contract with opportunity to extend;
• Ready to interview and start ASAP;
• Monday – Friday | 7am – 4pm;
• Casual contract hourly rate is flexible pending experience; and
• Working alongside an Accountant and Financial Controller.
