The Role: Step into the dynamic world of claims as a Senior Claims Adjuster! You'll be at the heart of our operations, responsible for managing claims, handling data entry, producing claims histories, and facilitating electronic communications. Your role is crucial in ensuring smooth workflows and top-notch service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process new claims/notifications 
  • End-to-end claims management
  • Appoint and Instruct legal service providers and loss adjusters 
  • Produce policy documents & generate claims histories
  • Complete outstanding reminders and peer reviews
  • Enter and process claims payments once approved
  • Manage claims reporting as requested by the Claims Team Leader 
  • Produce articles and participate in podcasts/webinars

Who We're Looking For: We're seeking a proactive, detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional service. You should be a quick learner, able to adapt to new systems and processes with ease. Your ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders, including legal service providers, brokers, and insureds, will be key to your success. A knack for problem-solving and a meticulous approach to managing data and documentation will set you apart. If you have a background in insurance claims or legal experience, that's a big plus!

Experience in medical malpractice insurance and financial lines/liability insurance is highly desirable.

Essential;

  • Legal qualifications
  • Minimum 4+ years insurance experience
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills
  • Understanding of the importance of,
    • acting within authority, guidelines policies and procedures
    • requirements of corporate auditing principles and processes

Desired;

  • Insurance related qualification and/or experience in an insurance claims department or legal experience highly regarded
  • Medical malpractice insurance experience highly desirable
  • Experience with financial lines/liability insurance highly desirable
