Senior Compliance Analyst

Our client is a well-reputed financial services business within the lending space building their risk and compliance team.

They are based in Western Sydney suburbs, therefore will suit a candidate living in the area and wanting to drive to and from work.

Reporting to the Risk and Compliance Leader, the key responsibilities will include:

• Drafting, reviewing and updating compliance policies and procedures
• Keeping up to date with regulatory requirements
• Ensuring licensing requirements, reporting obligations and regulatory submissions are met and in line with legislative and corporate standards
• Conducting compliance monitoring, assurance activities, AML risks monitoring and sanctions screening
• Reviewing documentation, marketing materials, contracts and regulatory responses
• Managing risk and compliance registers
• Investigating potential compliance incidents, breaches or misconduct, and recommending actions to mitigate risks

The ideal candidate will have:

• Circa 4-5 years compliance or legal background
• Background in Consumer Lending, Credit Lending, Asset Financing or Banking is ideal
• Prior exposure to compliance plans, frameworks and licensing requirements
• Ability to work in a lean environment and willing to be hands-on
• Great stakeholder engagement skills
