The Senior Compliance Manager will be responsible for building, implementing and managing the compliance frameworks, monitoring program, policies and procedures.
This is a great opportunity for a hands-on compliance professional looking to take ownership of their work and make an impact.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Circa 7+ years’ regulatory compliance experience
- Background in the infrastructure, construction, telecommunications or manufacturing industry would be ideal
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders (internal and external) at all levels
- Ability to work in a lean environment and be hands-on
- Problem-solving and proactive attitude
- Relevant tertiary qualifications
Some of the responsibilities of this role will include:
- Developing and maintaining compliance frameworks, monitoring programs and plans
- Drafting and updating policies and procedures
- Documenting and maintaining compliance obligations
- Conducting compliance reviews and risk assessments to identify gaps
- Designing and delivering education and training programs
- Managing licensing and accreditation obligations and ensuring timely regulatory reporting
- Keeping up to date with regulatory and legislative changes and liaising with regulators
- Preparing and presenting Board, Committee and management reports
- Providing compliance advisory and participating in ad hoc projects
