Job Summary: We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Senior Crane Operator to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a company that values its workforce and provides employees with the chance to work on major, high-impact projects.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in crane operations, maintenance, and safety procedures, as well as the ability to lead and mentor junior operators. Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a variety of cranes, including all terrain, frannas and crawlers, for construction and other heavy lifting activities on Tier 1 projects.

• Perform pre-operational checks, including the inspection and maintenance of equipment.

• Ensure proper lifting techniques, load calculations, and safety protocols are followed at all times.

• Supervise and mentor junior crane operators, providing guidance and training where needed.

• Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure the efficient and safe operation of cranes.

• Maintain a high level of communication with site supervisors, riggers, and other staff to ensure safe and smooth crane operations.

• Follow all safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe work environment.

• Keep accurate records of crane operation, maintenance, and any incidents.

Requirements:

• Min 5 years experience as a crane operator, including experience on large-scale, high-profile Tier 1 projects.

• High Risk Work Licence – Crane Operator, or Intermediate Rigger & Dogman, Valid CO (Crane Operator) ticket or equivalent.

• General Hire experience

• General Construction Induction White/Blue Card

• Extensive knowledge of crane operations, safety protocols, and equipment maintenance.

• Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to supervise and mentor junior team members.

• Ability to work under pressure in challenging environments and adapt to changing work conditions.

• Proven track record of successfully working with 100t Cranes > with a strong focus on safety and precision.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and site plans.

• Must be able to work as part of a team in an EBA environment, adhering to all terms and conditions outlined in the agreement.

• Reside in the Greater Brisbane / Gold Coast Area
