Senior Data Analyst - Business Intelligence - EDW - ETL - SAS - Python - SQL

A leading Federal Government department is looking to for an experienced Business Intelligence Data Analyst to join a highly multidisciplinary team in providing information and statistics to promote better health and wellbeing. The successful Business Intelligence Data Analyst will be responsible in leading and managing deliver of projects from initiation through to closure under the department’s project management framework. The Business Intelligence Data Analyst will be offered a 12-month initial contract with a possibility of a 12 month extension option, open to NSW.

The successful Business Intelligence Data Analyst will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Design, build and implement reports, dashboards, analytic and data products

• Provide the highest-level technical and analytical expertise

• Identify opportunities to leverage data and analytics to support consistent and efficient decision making.

• Articulate complex information into simple messages that can be consumed by key stakeholders

The successful Business Intelligence Data Analyst will have experience in the following:

• Proven experience in data analysis and programming expertise

• Ability to deliver under limited supervision and perform under tight deadlines in a changing environment

• Proven Experience with the use of data exploration and visualisation tools

• Ability to translate discussion into data flows and process documentation
