Tasks & responsibilities
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Electrical Design and System installation Specialist to join our team. Our ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:
- Design and create operational electrical systems
- Organise supply of parts for parking systems
- Create and upgrade PLC controllers
- Wire and install electrical components
- Identify parts required
- Liaises with Korean suppliers
- Checks/updates maintenance schedules
- Checks/amends programs on programmable logic controllers
- Designs upgrades to automated car parking systems
- Trouble shoots breakdowns
Qualifications & experience
A Senior Electrical Design and System Installation Specialist shall have appropriate qualifications and experienced. Required attributes are as follows:
- Have relevant qualification and extensive industry experience (10 + years of experience) in electrical and control systems design, development, management and installation
- Must be completely fluent in the Korean language
- Must be able to read, write and understand Korean electronic technical language
- Must have contacts in Korea for information on the latest technology available and the procurement of components.
- Must have Korean technical contacts with the knowledge and information to integrate latest technology into ageing Parking Systems where components have become obsolete.
- Must be fully conversant with all electrical components and electronics encompassing a Korean manufactured Automated Parking System.
- Must be fully conversant with all mechanical aspects, including hydraulics, of the different Korean Automated Parking Systems to enable the design and installation of all electrical and electronic components required to enable a fully functioning automated car parking system.
- Must be able to tailor the parking system program and all associated electronic touch screen programs to suit the requirements of specific sites. (These are NOT off the shelf programs).
