ABOUT THE ROLE

Downer's Water Engineering Team invites you to take the next step in your career as a Senior Electrical Engineer in our Brisbane, Melbourne, or Sydney offices. You will report to the Electrical Engineering Manager and will play a crucial role in major water projects, whether brownfield or greenfield. In addition, you will support the Power Generation & Storage and Industrial Energy business units. Recently, the team has successfully completed the largest Membrane Bioreactor (MBR) Water Treatment facility and the only commercial Gasification facility in Australia.

ABOUT YOU

• A degree in Electrical Engineering and either EA Chartered Engineer or RPEQ status are preferred.
• Demonstrated success as an Electrical Engineer in LV System Design, including LV Power Distribution, Panel Design and Power system modelling (Arc Flash, Protection and Load Flow)
• Experience in FATs, commissioning and fault finding, Project Management & Risk Assessments, HV Design, Lighting Studies, Earthing and Lighting Protection
