Role Description
This is a full-time office based role for a Senior Estimator located in Port Melbourne. As a Senior Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for construction projects and tenders, assessing project risks, analyzing plans and specifications and communicating with subcontractors and suppliers. You’ll collaborate with Project Managers, Engineers, and internal teams to enhance project planning, improve cost accuracy, and ensure successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Develop cost estimates based on project scope, supplier input, and site assessments.Collaborate with internal teams to refine estimates and manage risks.Use and improve existing estimation tools, templates, and processes.Factor in compliance, safety, and market conditions to ensure accurate pricing.Support continuous improvement with post-project analysis.

Your Experience
5+ Years as an Estimator for a Commercial Builder in Melbourne working on projects of +$40mYou can lead a tender and ECI, including coordinating with design and construction colleaguesYou have excellent communication skills with team members, subbies, consultants and clientsYou've priced tenders for D&C, novated design, construction management and lump-sum projectsYou've prepared cost plans in elemental or trade format.You have excellent technical knowledge of construction materials, methodsYou've worked on Buildsoft Cubit, Cubit Select [Bartender], EstimateOne or CostX
