Senior Estimator Commercial Fencing

Qualifications & experience

• Two plus years' experience Estimating in the Fencing, Noise Barrier or Retaining wall industry
• Extremely competent in reading, understanding site plans and technical drawings
• Self-motivated with exceptional time management skills
• High attention to detail
• Specific experience in current fencing and civil construction standards and relevant drawings 
• Experience in preparing tenders and accurate quotes for a wide variety of products and projects
• Experience with Estimating software and job control systems such as Simpro would be an advantage
• High level of competency in using Microsoft Excel

Tasks & responsibilities

• Reporting to the General Manager, you will generate leads, prepare high value tenders to both existing and new clients.
• To cultivate and develop client relationships within the Fencing, Noise Barrier and Retaining Wall industry. 
• Quoting multiple projects on a daily basis. You will respond to client enquiries and tender requests by creating detailed quotes as per the tender documentation and email requests. 
• Contract and documentation review
• All aspects of preconstruction for handover to construction team
• Some local travel required for site inspections
