Senior Finance Business Partner

MARS are proudly partnering with a large, longstanding and reputable financial services organisation that are looking to hire a Senior Finance Business Partner to join their high performing finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced finance business partner to work closely with senior leaders and executive governance committees, driving impactful insights and helping shape strategic decisions.

The Opportunity

As a Senior Finance Business Partner, you'll work closely with senior stakeholders across the organisation, including C-Suite leaders and key governance committees, to provide strategic advice, financial insights, and meaningful reporting that influences key decisions. This is a pivotal and value-adding role where your ability to translate complex financials into commercial outcomes will be critical to the organisation's success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the strategic finance liaison for executive leadership and governance forums.
• Drive budgeting, forecasting, and insightful reporting to support strategic decision making.
• Provide high level financial analysis, advice, and risk mitigation strategies to executive leaders.
• Champion finance transformation initiatives and support the adoption of new tools and systems.
• Lead the development of cost saving strategies and financial capability uplift across departments.
• Represent the finance function in enterprise-wide forums, ensuring finance is central to decision making.

About You:

• CA/CPA qualified with significant experience in finance business partnering, ideally in a complex or regulated environment.
• Deep experience influencing executive stakeholders and working closely with senior governance bodies.
• A strategic mindset paired with strong technical expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Strong capability with large financial systems such as TM1 (or similar).
• Ability to challenge, influence, and support non-finance leaders with commercial insights and sound financial advice.
• Proven track record of driving change, uplifting financial acumen, and enabling better business outcomes.
