Senior Financial Accountant

 In this role as a Senior Financial Accountant, you will:

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS/GAAP

• Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes. 

• Reconcile general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies. 

• Coordinate and support external audits, liaising with auditors and providing necessary documentation. 

• Monitor and enforce internal financial controls and procedures. 

• Assist in the development of budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis. 

• Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decisions. 

• Ensure compliance with tax, legal, and regulatory requirements.

We are looking for someone who wants to work hard, achieve goals with the team and have some fun. Our future team-mate will also have:

• Tertiary qualification (Accounting, Finance or related field) 

• CPA or CA designation preferred 

• Minimum 5–7 years of relevant accounting experience. 

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting. 

• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar) and Microsoft Excel. 

• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. 

• Strong organizational and time-management abilities. 

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills. 

• Experience with ERP systems and financial modelling.
