About the Role

The Senior Integration Engineer will:

Is critical in leading the design, development and enhancement of data integration solutions within an Agile delivery framework that enables the secure and efficient exchange of information between different and complex systems. The Senior Integration Engineer combines diverse technical expertise with solid business acumen to ensure the successful integration of new systems into existing infrastructure. The role leverages a deep understanding of cross-platform expertise and works in close partnership with cross-functional teams, business users to ensure design and implement integration solutions that align strategies with the University's goals and seamlessly connect diverse systems, databases, and applications, ensuring data accuracy, security and real-time synchronisation.
This role provides technical leadership and mentorship to less experienced engineers and other team members.

About You

As the Senior Integration Engineer, you will have:

  • Demonstrated technical delivery experience using capabilities such as
     5+ years Boomi AtomSphere - Integration and API Management - MUST HAVE
     AWS native data streaming, APIs and microservices - MUST HAVE
  • Experience with an ERP migration program, specifically Workday is a nice-to-have. 
  • Experience analysing requirements with stakeholders and documenting solution designs with appropriate application of various enterprise integration approaches and capabilities such as Domain Driven Design, APIs, pub/sub messaging, events and ETL considering the various available platform strengths.
  • Possess deep technical expertise and knowledge in the respective technology, seen as subject matter experts and mentor other integration engineers or team members.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage large-scale integration programs of work, including planning, resource allocation, risk assessment, and timely delivery.
  • Experience in establishing and maintaining data governance practices to ensure data quality, consistency, and accuracy across integrated systems.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and communicate complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Deep understanding of cybersecurity best practices and the ability to design integration solutions that adhere to strict security and data privacy requirements.
  • Experience in implementing and practising Agile methodologies for efficient execution and continuous improvement.

Remuneration

A competitive and comprehensive remuneration package will be offered.

This role attracts 17% superannuation in addition to the base salary.
