Claire Stevens Interior Design (CSID) - Full-time 

Established in Brisbane in 2012, and designing beautiful residential and commercial interiors, Claire Stevens has steadily built a reputation for delivering unique and timeless projects.

With continued growth in CSID’s client base and projects, an exciting opportunity exists for a full-time Senior Interior Designer to join us.

• Full-time position, working across all project areas including high end residential design and decoration. 

• High level of interaction with clients and project teams.

• Minimum 5-6 years experience, including with client responsibilities.

• Strong design documentation and decoration/styling skills required.

• Wages to be discussed at interview and will be commensurate with experience and skill level.

The ideal candidate will have outstanding customer focus, provide excellent service and forge strong relationships – both internally and with external clients and suppliers. You will be a strong contributor to the CSID team, displaying positive attitudes, complementing and enhancing the reputation of our studio.  The following minimum requirements will help you succeed in this role:

• Completion of undergraduate qualifications in a Built Environment – Interior Design/ Interior Architecture degree or relevant equivalent discipline;

• 5-6 years minimum Interior Design experience;

• Residential design and decoration/styling experience required;

• Direct client experience required;

• High level understanding and execution of cabinetry detailing and interior plans;

• Strong time management and organisational skills – an ability to organise, plan and prioritise tasks and handle multiple competing priorities to meet project deadlines;

• An ability to work independently and as a team member under supervision;

• Strong professional demeanour and interpersonal skills – including excellent written and verbal communication;

• A current Queensland open driver's licence and own presentable vehicle;

The candidate will also possess advanced competency in:

• Microsoft Office suite skills including use of Mac applications. 

• Advanced skills in Auto CAD, Sketch Up, Photoshop and other design software.

• Revit experience is desirable but not essential.
