The Town library is seeking a bright, energetic Senior Librarian in a full-time capacity! Job sharing will be considered.

Your new role

In the role of Senior Librarian, you will:

• Supervise and support day-to-day activities of Library Officers and casual staff, including conducting probationary and annual staff development reviews.
• Assist in determining annual budget allocations and responsible for tracking budget expenditure.
• Develop and maintain procedures and processes.

Some evening and weekend work is required.

What you’ll need to succeed

• Experience in planning and implementing library front of house workflows to provide a community-focused and innovative library service.
• Enthusiastic and proactive approach towards your work.
• Previous experience in a public library and the use of Library Management Systems e.g.: Spydus
• Experience using and showcasing the Western Australia Public Libraries Digital Media Collections and other online resources
• Knowledge and experience in using financial management systems.
