Your Role

We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Motor Claims Consultant to join our team, lead by example and facilitate excellence in our Motor claims handling.

This position will be offered on a permanent full-time basis with a hybrid approach. We offer flexibility to WFH and in our Sydney CBD or Parramatta office locations.


Responsibilities

You will add value to Gallagher Bassett across the following:

  • Manage a portfolio of high quantum and technical claims end to end
  • Build and develop external business relationships
  • Contribute to staff development in regular team meetings
  • Prepare Standard Client Reports within Service Instructions as required
  • Achieve monthly productivity levels as designated by management
  • Comply with relevant legislation such as The General Insurance Code of Practice, and other relevant legislation / regulations and policy requirements
  • Resolve complaints in accordance with company guidelines
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement
  • Identify potential fraud/recovery indicators for claims where applicable
  • Coaching and mentoring new starters and existing team members including in office, side by side training

  • Extensive Motor Claims experience
  • Excellent customer service skills

  • PC literate – Database and Microsoft Office
  • A self-motivated individual with the ability to work autonomously
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to liaise with clients at any-given time
  • Outstanding organisational and time management skills
  • Superior task and schedule management abilities
  • Energy and flexibility to work with the Corporate team, and the desire to support projects identified as being critical to the long-term business plan
