The role
Do you want to have a long-lasting impact on improving work health and safety in WA?
We are looking for someone who has experience in developing, implementing, and evaluating legislation and/or policy. You will have strong research and analysis skills and be able to develop high quality, evidence-based solutions or advice, tailored to different audiences.
The Senior Policy Officer role requires the ability to build and maintain relationships with a range of stakeholders to influence positive outcomes. Your collaborative approach, strong communication and organisational skills ensures the team achieves its goals in a fast-paced and evolving work environment.

While this selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, it may also be used to fill other similar vacancies (permanent, fixed-term, full-time or part-time) within the department for the next 12 months, from the date that the recruitment breach period has been finalised.
To be eligible for appointment, applicants must have a valid working visa (for fixed term appointments) or be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or have a visa to live and work indefinitely in Australia (for permanent appointments) at the time of application.
