Senior Policy Officer (Pests)

Do you have skills and experience in invasive species management?

The Pest Services team sits within the Technical Services branch of the Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service & Partnerships (QPWS&P) and provides strategic services and advice regarding the agency’s internal and external legislative and custodial responsibilities as they relate to the management of invasive species.

This position will assist in the development and upkeep of a suite of policy and administrative instruments to ensure consistency with legal and custodial obligations.

The Senior Policy Officer (Pests) is responsible for supervising staff, assisting in the delivery of the annual QPWS&P invasive species management program, and providing high level technical and professional advice.
