This role is a permanent full time position, working Monday to Friday, starting at 5:30am and finishing between 1pm - 3pm with additional hours as required.
This position is a relief position and requires the successful applicant to fill gaps left by leave and operational necessities.
The yearly salary for this position is $67,983 + 15% penalties + 12% super
You'll be
Starting your day early in the morning sorting both mail and small parcels
Responsible to cover and deliver to multiple rounds with no two days are alike!
Completing your own daily vehicle safety check
Loading your vehicle with your deliveries for the day
Delivering outdoors in all types of weather to deliver to homes and businesses
Paired up with our experienced Rider Mentors, who are committed to engage and take part in your professional development
About you
You are an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
You hold a full or probationary motorcycle licence
Experience and/or knowledge working within the courier/delivery industry is advantageous but not mandatory
You are resilient and able to adapt to high volume and pressure
You are flexible with working additional hours if required
You’ll successfully pass our mandatory and practical riding assessment
You have a great memory, excellent attention to detail and can lift up to 16kgs of Mail and Parcels regularly
You will need to meet our safe working load limit of weighing 100kgs or less
