Senior Project Manager

Talent International is searching for an experienced Senior Project Manager (ERP) to join our Government client based in Brisbane CBD on a 12-month contract + Likely Extensions. // 12 Month Contract + Likely Extensions // 2 Days WFH Per Week // Brisbane CBD Location The Role You’ll lead the planning and delivery of a major ERP uplift project, transitioning the Department’s current SAP ECC6 platform to SAP S/4HANA. This foundational uplift aims to reduce technical debt and risk while preparing the platform for future transformation – all while minimising business disruption. Responsibilities // End-to-end project delivery: Initiation to Close // Build and manage a high-performing ERP project team // Stakeholder engagement across Project Board, Executives, and Vendors // Develop project documentation, communications, and risk strategies // Ensure compliance with Departmental project management frameworks // Act as the key escalation point for risks, issues, and change requests Requirements // Proven experience leading SAP ERP projects in large and complex organisations // Strong experience transitioning from SAP ECC6 to SAP S/4HANA // Minimum 10 years’ project management experience, with at least 5 years on SAP ERP initiatives // Expertise across PRINCE2, Agile, and Waterfall methodologies // Skilled in Microsoft Project and other project management tools // Ability to operate autonomously and deliver to agreed outcomes Desirable Attributes // Current PRINCE2 Practitioner certification // Demonstrated success in ICT projects within Government or Education sectors // Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving capabilities // Familiarity with change management strategies in large, hierarchical organisations How To Apply To find out more, please “Apply for this job” or contact James Grierson or Mats Rorvik on 07 3031 4522 or james.grierson@talentinternational.com / mats.rorvik@talentinternational.com.
