An exciting opportunity exists for a Senior Project Manager to join a major infrastructure organisation and take the reins on a transformative project in Asset Management and Field Service Management implementation. You'll be stepping into a critical role at the very beginning of the project lifecycle-building the team, shaping delivery strategy, and leading execution across multiple business units.
About the RoleAs the Senior Project Manager, you'll be accountable for end-to-end project delivery, driving execution, leading cross-functional teams, and presenting progress at the executive level. This is a unique opportunity to have a significant impact on business performance through technology and operational transformation.
What You'll Be DoingLead a major digital and operational project from initiation to delivery
Present at Steering Committees, facilitate executive decision-making, and maintain alignment with business strategy
Build and guide a Sydney-based delivery team, identifying key roles and justifying resource needs
Manage project financials, including budget tracking, forecasting, and vendor engagements
Drive collaboration across departments and functions to ensure smooth execution
Proactively manage risks, issues, and dependencies to maintain momentum and stakeholder confidence
10+ years' experience in senior project management roles, ideally within asset-intensive industries
Proven success in Asset Management and Field Service Management system implementations
Strong experience working with Steering Committees and influencing executive stakeholders
A hands-on leader who is confident, reliable, and highly likeable-someone who inspires trust and delivers results
Expertise in resource planning, team building, and leading dispersed delivery teams
Solid financial and vendor management skills to ensure projects remain on time and within budget
