Lead a High-Impact Project from the Ground Up

An exciting opportunity exists for a Senior Project Manager to join a major infrastructure organisation and take the reins on a transformative project in Asset Management and Field Service Management implementation. You'll be stepping into a critical role at the very beginning of the project lifecycle-building the team, shaping delivery strategy, and leading execution across multiple business units.

About the Role

As the Senior Project Manager, you'll be accountable for end-to-end project delivery, driving execution, leading cross-functional teams, and presenting progress at the executive level. This is a unique opportunity to have a significant impact on business performance through technology and operational transformation.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Lead a major digital and operational project from initiation to delivery

  • Present at Steering Committees, facilitate executive decision-making, and maintain alignment with business strategy

  • Build and guide a Sydney-based delivery team, identifying key roles and justifying resource needs

  • Manage project financials, including budget tracking, forecasting, and vendor engagements

  • Drive collaboration across departments and functions to ensure smooth execution

  • Proactively manage risks, issues, and dependencies to maintain momentum and stakeholder confidence

What We're Looking For
  • 10+ years' experience in senior project management roles, ideally within asset-intensive industries

  • Proven success in Asset Management and Field Service Management system implementations

  • Strong experience working with Steering Committees and influencing executive stakeholders

  • A hands-on leader who is confident, reliable, and highly likeable-someone who inspires trust and delivers results

  • Expertise in resource planning, team building, and leading dispersed delivery teams

  • Solid financial and vendor management skills to ensure projects remain on time and within budget

Why Apply?
  • Start from the Ground Up: Take full ownership of a significant transformation initiative

  • Strategic Role: Influence key decisions and outcomes across a complex business landscape

  • Attractive Remuneration: Earn a $220K base + Super + Bonus, reflecting the seniority and impact of the role

  • Flexible Work Model: Hybrid setup with 3 days onsite in Western Sydney

  • Career Impact: Work on a high-profile, business-critical project with long-term significance
