Senior Tax Accountant

Responsibilities:

• Review the work performed by Staff before presenting to Clients/Partners

• Preparation/Review of complex financial statements

• Preparation/Review of management accounting reports

• Review of income tax returns and identifying non-compliance issues

• Provide business advisory services

• Provide tax planning advice

• Preparation and review of business activity statements

• Monthly, quarterly and annual tax compliance matters

What we're looking for:

•  CA/CPA qualified or close to completing CA/CPA

• Bachelor of Accounting, Commerce, Finance or Business, ideally with a Major in Accounting

• 3 years+ experience in Australian Professional Practice

• Strong technical skills in tax compliance, financial reporting, and tax planning

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients

• Proactive problem-solving mindset and a commitment to providing high-quality services

• Proficient in the use of accounting software and technology
