Senior UX Designer (AU)

ROLE REQUIREMENTS 
  • Develop user journeys, flows, sitemaps, wireframes and prototypes that simplify complex systems and solve real user needs.
  • Apply user-centred design principles to create accessible, inclusive products and services.
  • Ground your design thinking in research, data, and insight—balancing empathy with strategic intent.
  • Facilitate user research and stakeholder workshops to uncover insights and define goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in agile, iterative environments.
  • Contribute to design systems and component libraries using modern tools like Figma.
  • Present your ideas and thinking clearly to internal teams and client stakeholders.
  • Prototype and test concepts early and often, iterating based on feedback and results.
  • Stay curious—always exploring evolving design trends, technology and human behaviour.

QUALITIES AND CHARACTERISTICS

  • Strong experience in UX design, either client-side or agency, with a compelling portfolio showcasing user journeys, research, and problem-solving.
  • Deep understanding of human behaviour and user-centred design across digital platforms.
  • Experience running user research, facilitating workshops, and translating insight into action.
  • Proficiency in UX tools such as Figma, InVision, and relevant research/prototyping platforms.
  • Ability to operate autonomously while being an active, collaborative team player.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills—you can explain and defend your ideas with clarity.
  • Experience designing within agile environments and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
  • A growth mindset—motivated to evolve your craft and contribute to team development.
  • High levels of empathy and curiosity—driven to understand users and design experiences that truly serve them.
