We’re looking for an experienced Service Designer to join a dynamic Agile team working on meaningful transformation projects. In this Canberra-based hybrid role, you’ll help shape user-centric services and experiences that are efficient, scalable, and aligned with agency goals.
What You’ll Do:Conduct research to understand user needs, behaviours, and service pain points.Create service blueprints, journey maps, personas, and other design artefacts.Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to align service design with delivery goals.Facilitate co-creation workshops and ideation sessions.Integrate design principles into Agile delivery and continuously improve services based on feedback and data.Ensure quality and consistency of service design outputs and contribute to the Design Reference Group.
What You’ll Bring:Several years of experience in a service or UX design role, especially within Agile delivery environments.Strong background in design thinking, user research, and service blueprinting.Experience working in a Scaled Agile (SAFe) framework.Proficiency in tools such as Miro, Figma, Useberry, Hotjar.Excellent analytical and communication skills.Relevant tertiary qualifications or professional certifications in design or related fields.
