We are committed to excellence in service delivery and are currently seeking a highly experienced and specialized sprinkler fitter to join our expert team.

 Position Overview:

This role is for an experienced fire service technician who is confident and highly skilled in the servicing, maintenance, testing, and repair of a wide range of fire protection systems. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical knowledge, strong troubleshooting abilities, and a high standard of compliance and reporting, with proven proficiency in FireMate software.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Service, test, and maintain:

  • Fire sprinkler systems (wet, dry, pre-action)

  • Deluge systems

  • Fire hydrant and hose reel systems

  • Fire service pump sets (diesel and electric)

• Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with AS1851 and other relevant Australian Standards.

• Use FireMate to manage service reports, log maintenance actions, and ensure accurate compliance documentation.

• Identify and rectify system faults, providing high-level diagnostics and solutions.

• Communicate professionally with clients, site representatives, and internal teams.

• Participate in after-hours call-out roster as required.

• Mentor junior technicians when needed and contribute to maintaining high standards across the team.

Required Experience & Qualifications:

• Licensed Sprinkler Fitter with significant industry experience (minimum 5+ years preferred).

• Extensive experience in the service and maintenance of fire sprinkler, pre-action, deluge, hydrant, and hose reel systems.

• In-depth understanding of fire service pump sets and associated controls.

• Proven proficiency in the use of FireMate software for reporting and compliance.

• Strong understanding of AS1851 and relevant compliance frameworks.

• Construction White Card.

• Current manual driver's license.

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

Desirable Qualifications:

• EWP, confined space, and working at heights certifications.

• Experience in healthcare, high-risk industrial, or government facilities.
