Service Technician

About the role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Service Technician to join our team at NOV Australia Pty Ltd in Perth, WA. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service and maintenance support for our clients' mission-critical equipment and machinery.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Fully competent in servicing hydraulic/mechanically operations tools.

• Prepare tools for inspection/cleaning.

• Prepare load-out tools for field.

• Prepare service report after service or repair.

• Able to understand tool drawings.

• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to read technical drawings

• Ability to take measurements with various measuring equipment’s.

• Able to work in a team.

• Follow 5S implementation of workshop.

• Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with HSE standards

• To do receiving and packing for all inventory items

• Other operations or service activities as instructed by the Workshop Supervisor

Education and Experience

• Experience in servicing Downhole tools in oil & gas industry advantageous.

• Basic English communication (written and spoken)

• Experience with computers, MS office and email advantageous (for completing service reports)

• Positive attitude, self-driven, enthusiastic, honest with work and good interpersonal skills.
