We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated, energetic and experienced service technician.

 Are you a hands-on, mechanically minded professional who enjoys variety and working on the go? SKG Services is seeking a dedicated and experienced Mechanic/Technician to join our team to service, repair, and maintain cleaning equipment, as well as perform test and tag services across our client sites.

 About the Role:

In this mobile role, you’ll be reporting to the Service Technician and will be responsible for:

•  Servicing, repairing, and maintaining a range of commercial cleaning machines and equipment

•  Performing electrical test and tag services to ensure equipment safety and compliance

•  Diagnosing mechanical and minor electrical faults

•  Maintaining service records and completing job reports

•  Reporting and system compliance

•  Managing your schedule and attending to service requests across multiple sites

•  Liaising with site managers and internal teams to ensure timely repairs and minimal equipment downtime

•  Fault finding, diagnostics and repair recommendations (in workshop, on-site, over the phone)

•  Scheduled maintenance and repair works on client sites

•  Quality check all work completed to ensure it meets the required high standards

 What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience as a mechanic or technician (cleaning equipment or similar machinery preferred)

•  Test and Tag certification (or willingness to obtain)

•  Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills

•  Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

•  Good communication and customer service skills

•  A valid driver’s licence

•  Flexibility to travel to multiple sites (company vehicle provided)
