- Sheet Metal Fabrication: Utilize cutting, bending, and shaping techniques to fabricate sheet metal into various components and structures as per design drawings and specifications.
- Welding and Joining: Perform welding and joining tasks to assemble sheet metal components and create seamless and sturdy connections.
- Installation: Expertly install fabricated sheet metal products, ensuring accurate measurements and alignment for a flawless finish.
- Metal Finishing: Conduct metal finishing processes such as grinding, sanding, and polishing to achieve smooth surfaces and impeccable finishes.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough inspections of finished products to ensure they meet quality standards, are free from defects, and comply with safety regulations.
- Blueprint Interpreta2on: Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work orders to execute projects accurately and efficiently.
- Materials Management: Manage inventory of sheet metal materials and supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels for ongoing projects.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols to promote a safe and secure work environment for yourself and team members.
- Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and calibrate sheet metal tools and equipment to ensure op2mal performance and longevity.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to plan and execute sheet metal projects effectively.
Qualifications & experience
Relevant Certificate III or higher qualification, or at least 3 years of work experience in lieu of the formal qualification.
