Shift Electrician

There is an opportunity available at the Visy Glass Spotswood Plant for the role of Shift Electrician. This is a diverse and varied role where you will be working closely with the maintenance team on scheduled and breakdown maintenance.

Reporting directly to the General Maintenance Manager, key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

• Attending to breakdowns
• Troubleshooting & performing repairs to machines associated to the bottle making process
• Proactive approach in reporting and identifying hazards
• Utilising SAP for data collection and analysis of maintenance information
• This is a permanent role, working 35 hours a week on an 8hr 24/7 five-week roster

What you will bring:

• To be qualified for this role, the incumbent will need the following skillsets & experiences:
• Victorian A-grade electrical licence.
• A background in fault finding with PLC’s and Motor Controls.
• A strong commitment to safety & quality (LOTO, JSEA’s).
• Previous experience using SAP Plant Maintenance.
