Shift Technician – Stapylton (Brisbane Gold Coast) QLD

About the role

We’re seeking a skilled Shift Technician to join our high-performing Maintenance team at Nu-Pure’s state-of-the-art manufacturing plant in Stapylton, QLD. Ideally situated between Brisbane and the Gold Coast, Stapylton offers an easy commute from both major centres.

 

This is a day shift-only position on a 7-shift fortnightly rotating roster, perfect for someone who values work-life balance and wants to make an impact in a fast-paced production environment.

 

You’ll be working hands-on with industry-leading machinery, particularly Krones and Kosme blow moulders and filler lines, so previous experience with these systems will be highly regarded.

 

You'll report to our supportive Maintenance Manager, committed to setting you up for success through ongoing training and development.’

 

Your roster:  

·       84 hours per fortnight

·       12-hour day shifts (6:00 AM – 6:00 PM)

·       7 shifts per fortnight: 2 on – 2 off – 3 on – 2 off – 2 on – 3 off

·       Enjoy two full weekends off per month

 

What You'll Be Doing

·       Respond promptly to breakdowns and perform accurate fault finding and root cause analysis

·       Support and maintain Krones and Kosme filling and packaging lines

·       Drive preventative and planned maintenance activities

·       Contribute to continuous improvement projects across the site

·       Maintain accurate spare parts inventories and support stock control

·       Ensure safe, hygienic, and compliant operations across all maintenance tasks

 

About You:

·       Trade-qualified Fitter or Electrician

·       Must have experience with high-speed packaging equipment, particularly Krones and Kosme

·       Sound understanding of GMP, SOPs, ISO, HACCP, and food safety standards

·       Confident in diagnosing faults and conducting repairs under pressure

·       Computer literate, with excellent communication skills

·       A forklift license is a plus (not essential)

·       A team player with a proactive, can-do mindset
