Shop Hand

We are a leading manufacturer / re-seller of hydraulic components and products, located in Clayton. 

The Role: 
An immediate opportunity has arisen for experienced Shop hand or general hand to join the team. The successful candidates will have excellent mechanical aptitude.

The duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• Basic hand and power tool experience in a working environment.

• Assembly of engineered hydraulic components to specification.

• Testing hydraulic cylinders to specification.

• Cleaning and preparing cylinders for painting and timely painting of cylinders to specifications.

• Preparing and packing of cylinders for despatch.

• Packing and despatching client orders.

Skill & Experience:

• Experience in fitting and assembly.

• A current drivers licence.

• Current forklift (FL) license.

• Good communication skills.

• Experience in preparation of products for spray painting.

• Ability to work in a team environment.

• Computer knowledge and skills.

Also desirable: 

• Manual Lathe and Mill experience.

Salary is above the award and is negotiable relevant to knowledge and experience.  Hours are 7:00 am to 3:30 pm from Monday - Friday. Overtime may be available if conditions prevail.
